He Jin & The Ten Attendants

He Jin and the Ten Eunuchs

The Ten Regular Attendants (a.k.a. The Ten Attendants, The Ten Regular Palace Attendants, The Ten Eunuchs) was a political faction of the Han during the prelude of the Three Kingdoms era of China which consisted of eunuchs (castrated men). It usually consisted of 10 members, but it is known that in 184 there were even 12. The Eunuchs, led by Zhang Rang, gained too much influence on Emperer Ling and, after Ling passed away, on Empress He and He Miao, which resulted in the country losing its faith in the Han and calling it corrupt. In 189 He Jin ammassed an army to deal with the Ten Regular Attendants
